Cleargreen 01/07/17

As a part of Sonder Fest, Manchester based indie band Clear Green dominated the stage at the Ruby Lounge and performed an amazing set to a crowd of fans chanting their name. The band consists of lead singer/ front-man Aleister, drummer Tyrone, Lead guitarist Jack and Bassist Liam.
Cleargreen could easily be compared to the likes of; The Wombats, Catfish and The Bottlemen, Arctic Monkeys and The Vaccines and Sundara, keep an eye out - they're gonna be big (and they have a debut single out in August).

The venue was fairly sparse 15 minutes before the set began, but moments before the band were due to take to the stage, the venue was teeming with avid fans anxiously waiting for the guys to make an appearance.

Honestly, a week later and I'm still pumped from the nights events, the mosh pits, the screaming out lyrics at the top of your lungs, being one with a crowd of strangers - it's exhilarating.

These guys are by far one of the best bands to have met Manchester's limelight this year. The band are due to play Blackthorn Music Festival in Stockport, accompanied by No Hot Ashes, Stilia, LarkinsDantevilles, Sundowners, False Advertising, Carnival Club, Saytr Play, Oddity Road and The Claremonts. Tickets can be purchased here.
